Roam Map ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

• Account Information: Name and email address when you register.
• Location Data: Your device location to show nearby places on the map. Location is not stored on our servers without your explicit action.
• User Content: Places you save, lists you create, check-ins, and reviews.
• Usage Data: Crash reports and diagnostic data to improve app performance.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Roam Map service
• To show you nearby places and personalized content
• To enable social features (following friends, sharing lists)
• To display relevant advertisements via Google AdMob
• To diagnose and fix technical issues

Third-Party Services

• Google AdMob: Used for advertising. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase: Used for database and authentication. See Supabase Privacy Policy.
• Apple Maps: Used for map display. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with third-party service providers necessary to operate the app, and only as described above.

Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app settings. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed from our servers.

Children's Privacy

Roam Map is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
